Maija Isola Fabric Exhibit
For my design I wanted to focus on Maija Isola’s life and her inspiration through a progression of time. I achieved this by creating specific nodes of her designs based on specific times and series. As the occupant would enter the exhibit, he or she would see a description and picture of Maija Isola. The occupant would then move through the exhibit entering and exiting different timelines of fabric. This journey let the observer feel and see what Maija Isola was feeling at that time in her life.
